I was getting my annual mammogram today at a major Radiology center in the Washington DC area. The tech who was doing the xray, went crazy about my reconstruction (a DIEP FLAP), she couldn't believe that I have a mastectomy, and was raving about how wonderful it looked and felt with minimal scaring. Then she went and raved to the radiologists. The radiologist who read my xray called me back and wanted to see my recon. She wanted to know who was the surgeon, she had never seen such a good result. I told them that I wasn't finished with stage 2 recon! The radiologist had gone to a lecture by Dr. Davison about this but had never seen it. They were writing down the information and said they were going to recommend him to patients. They want me to come back and show them when stage 2 is done! C.C.

In November of 2007 I had a Mastectomy for Breast Cancer. Doctor Steven Davison performed Breast Reconstruction surgery immediately after the Mastectomy. Now over six months after the surgery I am very pleased with the results and could not be happier with my choice of Dr. Davison as my surgeon. I look better than I did before both surgeries. Even more importantly I feel whole. Dr. Davison’s skill as a surgeon as well as his personal interest in my progress helped get me through a very difficult time in my life. Everyone in your office is patient centered. Nora and Rachel both provided excellent care and were always happily willing to answer any questions I had. Linsey was very competent in serving me and I know for a fact she worked on my behalf on her day off. She seemed very pleased to have this opportunity to serve me. This attitude is unbelievable in this day and age. Nevertheless it is the attitude that I experienced with everyone that works in your office, including YOU. Kenny also made me feel important. I especially appreciated his smiles and encouragement during this process.
